Greenhurst Nursing Center originally opened in October of 1961, as a 20 bed, long-term care facility in Charleston, Arkansas. In order to better serve a growing community, Greenhurst expanded its bed capacity to 42 in 1962, and to 73 beds in 1967. The current bed capacity is 97, housed in a beautiful 34,000 square foot building which opened in December 1997, on a serene 40 acre campus one mile east of Charleston. The Nursing Center employs over 5% of our community’s working citizens.
